To most people, the sky is the limit. To aviators, the sky is home.

Back in February I got to fly this F-104 Starfighter from Kirkland AFB in Albuquerque to Phoenix.   Once in a lifetime experience.  Need I say more.

Rick Milson and I after he signed me off for my FAST Wingman card.  Flying close formation can take a lot out of you.  It was a real pleasure getting training from a former Blue Angel and F-4 fighter jock.

Here is one of Kay's T-33s I got to fly at Wendover. What a nice airplane! Looking forward to going again this May.

Another shot from Wendover Jet Blast. Getting ready to fly the British Strikemaster. Interesting perspective to fly a side by side jet. Particularly while doing aerobatics.

I flew the Saeta Jet to AirVenture, Oshkosh this year along with Carl V. in the Vampire. Here I am flying in the Warbird portion of the airshow. In the big Warbird show we got to fly the low show in front of the crowd with pyrotechnics. What a blast it was (no pun). The smoke system on the jet worked great. In this shot, I am pulling up after one of my flybys.  I wrote an article about my adventure that was published in Warbirds magazine, December issue. Title: "Jets to AirVenture 2006".

Tom S. owns this beautiful Sikorski S-38, one of two replicas recently built. We got the opportunity to take a ride in it with Tom during AirVenture this year. Tina T. landed it a couple of times on lake Winnebago and the group of us hung out in the middle of the lake while Pete & Tina went swimming. I got to fly right seat on the way back to OSH. Stay tuned for some exciting news about this bird for next year.
